About Becky :
Becky Titelman grew up in Forest Hill, Maryland, and she went to Mountain Christian School
and John Carroll High School. She has been acting since the age of six, dancing since the age of three, and writing for as
long as she can remember. She has performed in over 70 musical theatre productions and professional musicals in her 29 years
of life.
Her first full length story was "Prairie Life Isn't Very Easy", a book about daily life
for a family on the prairies. It was 120 pages, hand-written, and took up a whole notebook. She worked on it for four
years, from fourth grade through eighth. Becky has many stories, that she has written over the years, collected in a
folder, many of which are small, glued pages with stickers for the pictures.
Becky took creative writing classes in college. She attended Elon College in North Carolina,
where she majored in Music Theatre with a minor in Dance. After college, she taught dance in North Carolina for a year, choreographed
a production of "Gypsy" for Gallery Players, played "Shelby" in "Steel Magnolias" for Gallery Players, and concentrated
on her writing in her spare time. She has also performed professionally at Hersheypark in Pennsylvania, Seaside Music Theatre
in Florida, Allenberry Playhouse in Pennsylvania, Main Street Theatre in Pennsylvania, and Wild Adventures Theme Park in Georgia.
She now lives in Midtown, Manhattan in New York City. She tries to audition when she
can, but has been concentrating on her writing a lot recently. Becky has a dog named Nimbus, who is a beautiful pure-bred
Weimeraner, and a tabby cat named Oliver, or Kitty-face, as Becky calls him.
Becky loves children, writing, working on her website, singing, dancing, and just living
in New York. She hopes that "The Wonky Witch" will become widely sold throughout the U.S., and she wants everyone to help
spread the word. Currently, she is working on the third book in the series, "The Wonky Witch and the Witching Well".
Becky extends her love to all of her readers, and she tells them, "Grab your wands and
have fun with Maude!"
